Bio...

Liz was born in Cheshire, but grew up from the age of one to 20 in Western Australia. She studied Marine Biology at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. She has been consistently one of Britain’s top athletes, with World Cup wins dating back to 2003. She was an ITU World Cup winner when Salford Quays hosted an event in 2005.

She recorded three top-10 results throughout the 2011 season, including eighth position at the ITU World Championship Grand Final in Beijing.

Liz is married to Glen Murray, a former Australian international athlete.

Liz is an affiliate member of UK Sport Lottery funded British Triathlon World Class Performance Programme.
