Matt is the current Under23 World Champion, having won the title as part of a GB clean sweep in Beijing, China (9 September) along with David McNamee and Tom Bishop.

He is from Enfield, north London and now trains full time as a member of UK Sport Lottery funded British Triathlon World Class Performance Programme based at the British Triathlon National Performance Centre in Loughborough.

He got into triathlon aged 13 and is now coached by Mark Pearce.

Away from triathlon you will find Matt cheering on his local team, Arsenal.
